“With DAC” and “No DAC” are not formatting variants. A source or batch record must state which designation it uses, plus the exact peptide wording and any reported modification. A shared short name cannot establish that two preparations are interchangeable.

PubChem CID 91971820 is a public record for the name CJC-1295. It can support a search trail, but it cannot substitute for the modification, analytical record, or lot documentation of a received material.

What the with-DAC source reports

Jette et al. (2005; PMID 15817669) synthesized maleimido derivatives of hGRF(1-29) and examined their ex vivo bioconjugation to human serum albumin. The paper identifies CJC-1295 as a tetrasubstituted hGRF(1-29) form with a C-terminal maleimidopropionamide derivative of lysine. Its methods include stability work, a cultured rat anterior-pituitary cell secretion assay, and rat plasma analysis.

That source establishes a specific modified material and study design. It does not establish the identity, behavior, or analytical result of a No-DAC material, a mixed product, or a separately supplied batch. Those must remain separate records.

Documentation review for the material in hand

Keep the product label, DAC designation, lot identifier, receipt record, and any supplied COA or SDS together. Record the method and result stated by each document. Do not infer the modification from a product name, or infer a biological result from a chromatography or mass entry.
